FAQ
How many photos will we receive?
I don't believe in giving a set about of pictures from a session, I take as many photos during our session and edit them and send out the best ones! No gatekeeping here!
How should I dress for my session?
This is completely up to you!! If you all want to match, great! If you all want to wear sweatpants, great! I do ask that you pay attention to the weather leading up to our session so you can dress accordingly!
When will I get my photos from my session?
I have a fairly quick turnaround time depending on the session type. Seasonal mini sessions are between 2-3 days, family and senior portraits are between 7-10 days, sports sessions vary by session type, roughly 10-12 days!
Am I able to get a sneak peek of my photos?
YES!! I absolutely love giving my clients a sneak peek of photos at least 24-48 hours after our session ends! I know how nerve wracking it can be to see the photos and I get it! I'd want to see them too!
How will I get the photos from my session?
Once I am done with your photos, you will receive an email with a link to an online gallery to be able to view and download your photos. In the email you will also receive a pin to download the photos right from the gallery!
What if the weather is not great the day of the shoot?
Generally, I will only cancel photoshoots the day of if it looks like severe rain or thunderstorms. Cloudy days are actually preferred for photos!
What if I need to cancel my session?
Listen things happen! It's totally understandable! For every session I do require a 50% deposit that holds your day and time for your session. If you need to cancel your session for any reason I do ask you notify me at least 24 hours before your scheduled your session.
Will you send the RAW/unedited photos?
To put it simply, no I will not release any RAW/unedited photos. I will only release edited photos. This is because I take great pride in my work and time editing photos to my standards!
What if my child doesn't like to take photos?
Hey not everyone loves their picture taken (especially little ones) and that's 100% OK! It's more than normal for your little one to be shy, sad, or even annoyed to be told to smile or pose for a picture!
Little ones have BIG emotions and if they need time to warm up to me, the location, or even the idea of having pictures taken I am more than ok with that! It might take a few tries to get that perfect smile in a photo!
If I know there will be little ones in the session I will bring various stuffed animals to help make them feel more comfortable! Sometimes I'll even bring fruit snacks as 'bribery' for some of my older 'little ones! Or I encourage parents to bring their own snacks or items to offer during the session!
